February 27, 2008 – Vol. 2, Issue 5

It’s almost leap day. And we are leaping for joy over here because the days are getting warmer (did they ever get cold?), the flowers are starting to bloom, and new websites have started popping up. We are so ready for spring, can you tell? Because during spring, everything is fresh, just like our new newsletter format. Don’t worry, the fabulous content hasn’t changed, we just did a little spring cleaning of our own. We hope you like it

How do you like to get your news?

We’ve been a fan of Ask.com for some time now.

So you can imagine our joy when they publicly launched Big News. It sorts stories by category. Okay, seen that before. But it also allows you to track stories through time, apply filters and show related stories.

It’s a nice tool. Try it, you’ll like it.

Intermezzo

25.jpgTime for a little break? Then check out The Advertisers Addictionary.

This is a site for word lovers and those who like to see the English language grow in serious or humorous ways. It’s fun. And it’s a little reminiscent of snigglets of the old Saturday Night Live days? (Remember Rich Hall?)

You can get a “werd” a day email and even add to the list.

Know This

Know This is a directory with more than 140 categories of information relating to marketing. Even if you know everything about marketing, this is a great resource. There are interesting stories relating to marketing and a high quality Principles of Marketing series with 27 Tutorials.

You can always learn more. And there’s always room for Jello.

Stump the Researcher

A loyal reader asks: Maybe I should be writing to Dr. Grammar or something. But I’ll give you a shot. Lately, I’ve been hearing people refer to themselves as ‘myself’ where I think it should be me or I. Is it just me?

Read our blog for the answer.

TTFN

Ta Ta for now.. Thanks for reading. We couldn’t keep this newsletter going without you. Well, we could, but what’s a newsletter without readers? It’s like spring without the bunnies!

See you in two weeks.
